6/9/2005 - Its been a while since there have been any updates with the radio in the Squirrel Hill tunnel. Dan Stancil along with some other graduate students however, have been working to impove the installation materials and original design of this project over the last few years. Again, this has been work done in spare time and as a community service. Our appologies for the delay in FM coverage. Your patience has been appreciated... thanks for all of the emails/questions/support -- keep them coming. The new design consists of higher quality cable and mounting equipment, and should hold up much longer than the very first system did. We will be posting more to this site over the next few months as the installation in the Ft. Pitt tunnel draws closer to completion.
